Hand-Hewn Steel Scissors

While traveling in Myanmar in 1994, Suzanne came upon a paper-kite festival (great story)- could not pass by the market (of course), where she found these scissors (and more), and could not help herself from buying these two. They are made from scrap metal and remain sharp as they were then. Anyone know what the engraving says?
